This story has traveled around the world, and yet it's author is unknown. Possibly written by a minister or member of the clergy, it is a quaint story about a parent, who one Christmas Eve, surprises Santa during his round of gift giving. Santa is sad and proceeds to tell the parent that many people have lost the true meanings of Christmas. He then brings forth, from his bag, many favorite Christmas Symbols, and to each of them, he connects one or more of the true meanings of Christmas. Whether dressed in the traditional red suit of Santa, or in a suit as Kris Kringle, your organization will be entertained as he explains that we can find other meanings in the many symbols of Christmas and that Santa represents the gift giving and fun of Christmas. You will hear the story from Santa's point of view as he presents the Symbols of Christmas to his audience. The Tree, the Star, the red ornament, the Candle, and more. And, with each symbol, he explains to his audience how they can use that symbol to remind them of a special part in the Celebration of Christ's Birth and the "Real Reason of Christmas."
