As the head of the World's largest 'Real Santa' Organization, with over 1000 'real' bearded Santas, and the Director of the International University of Santa Claus, (training thousands how to wear the Red Suit) Santa Tim Connaghan is an expert on Santa Claus and all things related.  He knows what it takes to be a 'real' Santa!

From research and lectures on the history of Santa and many Christmas customs, to training reporters and actors on the role of Santa and giving them real experiences wearing the 'Red Suit,' Santa Tim has met the challenge.

You have seen him on Dr. Phil and the Tonight Show.  He is the Official Santa for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and appeared in the 73rd and 74th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parades.  Santa Tim was the Holiday Santa for the Hallmark Channel; has appeared on numerous televisions programs including 'Mad-TV,' 'The Magic of Christmas' and 'The District;' and appeared in commercials and advertising for such clients as Hallmark, Old Navy, Kraft, Nabisco, Planter's, Dannon and Cool Whip. 

A professional Santa for almost 40 years, he's an accomplished performer, comedian, storyteller, singer, professional speaker and magician.  He is also the Executive Director of the over 1000 member AORBS (Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas)

You may have also seen him at Knott's Berry Farm where he officially opened the 'Silver Bullet,' the fastest, highest and longest roller coaster ride on the West Coast.  On opening day, he rode the new coaster a total of 17 times for live video feeds across the United States.  He said, "It was like flying with the reindeer, lots of loops, twists and turns!"

Santa has delighted tens of thousands of children and their families, appearing at special events, parades, and for hundreds of organizations, corporations and private parties including Capitol Records , Hallmark, In N Out Burgers, KIIS-FM, Los Angeles Country Club, Southwest Airlines, The St. Regis Resort and Spa, The Regent Beverly Wilshire, McDonalds, Marvin and Barbara Davis, Reese Witherspoon and Steven Spielberg.

The author of “Behind the Red Suit – the Business of Santa Claus,” he is president of RealSantas.com, supplying 'real bearded' Santas all over America, and is the Executive Director of the 900+ member, International, ‘Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas (AORBS).

He also directs the International University of Santa Claus (IUSC), and has trained hundreds of Santas in special workshops in cities across the U.S. 

As Stand-Up Comedian 'Kris K', he has appeared at the Improv, the Ice House, the Comedy Store and other venues, most recently appearing with Yakov Smirnoff

In the role of ‘Kris Kringle’ he speaks on “The Origins of Santa Claus,” “The Symbols of Christmas,” and “How to get a Head Start on the Holidays.”
